Amalgamy is a world music collective featuring Lubomir Smilenov and Bryan Charles Wilson that pays homage to various musical traditions within the framework of fusion. Their first album, Cynefin, explores a soundscape created with Cello, Kora, Kaval, and Electronics that establishes common ground between Western Classical genres, regions of West Africa, and the Balkans. The music seamlessly blends timeless world music cultures within the futuristic palette of electronic music.
